What is PPI?
PPI (Pixels Per Inch) is a measure of the pixel density of a digital screen. Higher PPI means sharper images and text, as individual pixels become smaller and harder to distinguish.
Retina Display
Apple coined the term "Retina Display" for screens with a high enough PPI that the human eye cannot see individual pixels at a normal viewing distance (usually > 300 PPI for phones).
