Calculation Methods Explained

Last Menstrual Period (LMP)

The most common method. Adds 280 days to the first day of your last period.

Conception Date

If you know exactly when you conceived, we add 266 days (38 weeks).

IVF Transfer

Calculated precisely by adding 266 days to the transfer date, minus the embryo age (3 or 5 days).

Why Due Dates Change

Your due date might be adjusted after an early ultrasound. Ultrasounds in the first trimester are generally more accurate than LMP for dating the pregnancy because fetal growth is very consistent during this time.
